Attorney Cynthia R. Exner CYNTHIA R. EXNER: Senior Attorney, attended L'Universite' de Dijon in France, and graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages. She worked for the Chase Manhattan Bank at One Chase Plaza in New York City where she studied for her MBA Degree. She then worked for Georgia-Pacific Corporation before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from Pace Law School in White Plains, New York, in 1980. She has practiced law since 1980, and has specialized in Immigration law since 1984. She has served as the Connecticut Chapter Chairperson to the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), on the AILA Board of Governors, she is the 1993 Recipient of the AILA Pro Bono Award for promoting the highest goals of professional responsibility and the 1993 Business and Professional Women's Top Honor as Woman of the Year, AILA Mentor Committee Chair, Executive Committee of the Women and the Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut, the Federal District Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

KRISTAN K. EXNER: Associate Attorney, is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, and received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York. She worked as a paralegal for the Admiralty and Maritime law firm of Hill, Betts and Nash, One World Trade Center, 52nd Floor, New York City. She is admitted to the practice of law in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania, is a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserves, has served as a Commissioner of the Mamaroneck Parks and Recreation Committee and has served as a Volunteer Firefighter of the Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department. Kristan is also Chief Executive Officer of www.tailsofcourage.org, an internationally recognized non-profit animal rescue organization. Kristan speaks English and French.

BRIAN C. QUIROS: Associate Attorney is a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, attended UCONN Storrs in a Master of Arts Curriculum and instruction, and received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Vermont Law School in South Royalton, VT. He worked as a Legal Intern for the State of New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services designing and developing spreadsheets, a Litigation Intern for the State of Kansas, Kansas Corporation Commission providing legal support and research for the state electric utility regulator analyzing renewable energy and as a Contract Attorney for Hire Counsel in New York City reviewing discovery request documentation. He has lived in Mexico, speaks English and is conversant in Spanish.

DEBRA SORBELLA: Law Firm Manager, received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey. She has worked as a General Manager for Bed, Bath & Beyond, Linens 'N Things and Pier 1 for over 15 years, and has worked for this lawfirm for over 10 years.

OLIVIA SARAIVA: Receptionist, was born in Portugal, and attended Marques de Pombal in Portugal, majoring in Business and Law. She obtained her Real Estate License from Naugatuck Valley Community College, and her Paralegal License from Boston University. She worked at Evercel, Inc. in Danbury for 21 years, Casual Corner, Century 21, Rebelo's Realty and Chico's of Southbury. Olivia is fluent in English and Portuguese.
